Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) Provider & Case Manager Webinars

The Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) is committed to partnering with case managers and providers to ensure consistent communication and collaboration. Beginning in 2025, BDS will continue hosting monthly provider and case manager webinars to share important updates, policy guidance, and resources.

All BDS-approved providers and Case Management Organizations are strongly encouraged to attend. These sessions provide valuable information directly from BDS leadership and are an opportunity to stay informed on changes impacting services.

The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Working Group, created under Executive Order 25-31, is inviting families, providers, and community members to provide feedback.

These sessions are a chance to share your experiences with ABA therapy in Indiana, voice concerns, and help shape future recommendations on cost containment strategies. Your feedback will directly inform how ABA services are evaluated and potentially improved.

Staying involved in Medicaid and disability policy means knowing when to speak up. Many public comment notices are posted directly on the websites of state agencies.

  Track official rule proposals, public hearing dates, and instructions for submitting feedback.

  The Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services posts draft policies, grant applications, waiver renewal webinars, and other documents for public feedback.

• Current HCBS Sites Open for Public Comment
  Some HCBS settings—such as group homes or day programs near institutions—must be reviewed to determine if they meet federal standards for community integration. The public may review each setting’s assessment and submit comments before a final decision is made.
